Chaos Warp is a fine start, with the mystical archive version being worth about $6, according to MTG Goldfish. ![]() Even if these cards aren't worth double-digit dollars, they are still powerful and interesting cards that often appear in Constructed decks, which is more than enough in many cases. These cards appear as uncommons, rares and mythic rares, and a handful of mythic rare archived cards stand out among them. Still, many of these cards are relevant for formats ranging from the competitive Modern format to the Commander format or even Legacy and Vintage, making them relevant even if they aren't terribly valuable financially. These cards' value will vary greatly since they appear across the five colors of mana and represent many different strategies and deck types in the game. In sessions of booster draft Limited, these archive cards may be drafted and used just like the set's regular cards. These cards will only be legal in the formats in which they are already legal, but Limited is a different story. These cards are not a part of the main set, and they won't be put into the Standard environment. Flavor-wise, these diverse spells are contained in the Biblioplex's archives in the campus of Strixhaven, and gameplay-wise, these special cards will appear in regular Strixhaven boosters, with one in each regular booster of the set and more in Collector's Boosters. Earlier sneak peeks of Strixhaven: School of Mages showcased a few of these alternate art cards, including some thematic Japanese ones, and now there are far more of these cards to consider.
